Solanica at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + OpenInfra Summit + PyTorch Conference China 2026
We're heading to Shanghai for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + OpenInfra Summit + PyTorch Conference China 2026 โ the Cloud Native Computing Foundation's flagship conference in China. As a Silver CNCF Member, Solanica will be present at the CNCF Project Pavilion with an OpenEverest project booth, and Sergey Pronin will give a Project Lightning Talk. Come talk databases on Kubernetes, Day-2 operations, and open source cloud native infrastructure with us.
OpenEverest is a CNCF Sandbox project, and we'll be representing it at the CNCF Project Pavilion during KubeCon China. Stop by our table to see live demos, explore the roadmap, and talk to the maintainers behind the project.

Architecture Without Gatekeepers: Decoupling for Neutrality
by Sergey Pronin, Founder, Solanica
Open source only works if the community can contribute without hitting a wall. We realized our architecture at OpenEverest was unintentionally biased toward specific tools, so we rebuilt it. Sergey will share how we moved to a modular plugin system that decouples our core from specific operators. By supporting everything from Valkey to competing Postgres flavors, we've eliminated vendor lock-in and ensured the community โ not the architecture โ dictates the project's future.
Solanica is a Silver Member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. We believe in the CNCF mission and actively contribute to the cloud native ecosystem โ through OpenEverest as a CNCF Sandbox project and through our work making databases on Kubernetes production-ready for everyone.
